This Privacy Policy provides an overview of the personal information Alliance Cigar("Alliance Cigar", "we", "our", or "us") collects, how we use the information, with whom we share it, and the choices you have in connection with this.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website at www.alliancecigar.com(the "Website"), any online services, software, or apps which are owned and operated by us, your communtions with us, and any in-person interactions (collectively, the "Services").
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Through your use of our Services, we collect personal information from you directly and automatically and such information affects your rights, responsibilities and obligations and gobern your use of the Services as further outlined below.
A. Information Collected From You
We collect personal information from you when you:
- Apply for employment: When you apply for employment, we will collect information as set forth in our Application Notice.
- Contact us: When you contact us or chat with us through the chat function on our website, we collect from you your personal identifiers (name, email address, and company you work with) and any other information you choose to include in your correspondence. We use this personal information to respond to your questions or inquiries, assist your purchasing decisiions, troubleshoot where necessary, and address any issues you may have.
- Sign up for our newsletter: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect, from you, your personal identifiers (name and email address). We use this information to send you the requested newsletter content. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included within each email we send to you. However, we will continue to send you service-related messages. We, through our service provider, use tracking pixels to determine whether you open emails, the time of opening, information about the device you use (including IP address), whether you interacted with the email, the topic of the email, whether it was delivered, sender and recipient addresses. We use this information to:
- (1) measure the effectiveness of our communications and make them more attractive, particularly by improving email subject lines;
- (2) limit the frequency of sending, ensuring emails continue to reach their recipients;
- (3) detect and analyze suspected fraud;
- (4) personalize communications based on your interest in received emails and interaction with them. This personalization includes: adapting message content / adjusting sending frequency or communication channel / optimizing campaigns based on reactions (e.g., adjusting email subject lines); and
- (5) offer tailored content or advertisements on other websites, applications, or communication channels.
- You can avoid downloading the pixel by rejecting the download of images in the email. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you emails necessary to the Website or any assistance you request.
- Create an account: To create an account, we collect from you your personal identifiers (name, physical address, email address, and telephone number), professional or educational information (company you work for, business address, business phone number), commercial information (sales tax license, tabacco license, and, where applicable, a distributors license), and a selected password (that is saved in a hashed form and we do not have access to in cleartext). We use this personal information to verify your age as required by applicable law to sell you tobacco products, create and manage your account, comply with our legal obligations, enroll you into the rewards program, and to provide access to certain features of our Website. You are solely responsible for providing the correct registration information and for updating and maintaining it. If you elect to, we will also use this personal information to send you our email newsletters containing exclusive deals and promotions we feel may be of interest to you. Please see “Sign up for our newsletter” above for information on how to unsubscribe.
- Make a purchase: When you make a purchase, we will collect from you your personal identifiers (name, email address, physical address) and sensitive finaancial information (debit or credit card number, expiration date, and CVV). We use this personal information to process your purchase and to manage and fulfill your purchase. If you checkout as a guest, we will also collect from you your date of birth as required by applicable law to sell you tobacco products. We will also use your email address to send you emails regarding order confirmations, your payment for those products, and the shipping of the products. When you make a purchase, we also collect and maintain commercial information about you, such as products purchased, obtained, or considered, and purchasing and consuming tendencies.
- Make a return To make a return, we collect from you your personal identifiers (name, email address, telephone number, and shipping address). We use this personal information to manage your return and refund.
- Request a catalog: If you request a catalog, we collect from you your personal identifiers (name, physical address, email address) to fulfill your request and mail the catalog to you. If you elect to, we will also use this personal information to send you exclusive deals and promotions we feel may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in each email.
- Start a purchase and abandoned cart: If you leave unpurchased items in your cart, we will also use your personal identifiers (email address and mobile telephone number) to send you reminders about the item(s) in your cart. We also use a provider that can send reminder emails to consumers who did not finish typing their email address via predictive cookies. If you do not complete your purchase, we will also use this personal information to send you abandoned cart emails. In addition to the emails, Alliance Cigar may use cookies to collect information regarding abandoned shopping carts. A cart is considered abandoned after one hour of inactivity/lack of purchase. Once the timer has expired, and if you have consented to being sent commercial text messages, an SMS message will be sent as a reminder. Please see the section below on how to unsubscribe from SMS messages.
- Sign up to receive text messages/SMS message: If you choose to sign up to receive SMS messages from us and our agents, we collect from you, your personal identifiers (name and telephone number) to contact you with your requested information and updates about Alliance Cigar at the phone number you provided, including by autodialed text messages even if your number is listed on a state or federal Do Not Call list. The messages may be sent to you earlier and/or later than the time restrictions set by state or federal law. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt-out at any time by replying “STOP” or texting “HELP” to get assistance to the number sending the message. After replying STOP, you may receive additional communications confirming that your request has been received and processed, and you may continue to receive text messages for a short period while Alliance Cigar processes your request. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary based on the texting program. You agree to update Alliance Cigar if you discontinue use of that telephone number or obtain a different number.
Alliance Cigar may also use the personal information collected for the above purposes to comply with the law and for other limited circumstances as described in HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION.
B. Information Collected From Third-Party Sources
We collect personal information from the following third-party sources:
- In order to adhere to FDA regulations and for the safety of our customers we do not sell to anyone under the age of twenty-one (21) years old. We use a third-party provider to verify that you are twenty-one (21) years old and over. In doing so, we receive confirmation of the personal identifiers(name, date of birth) you have provided to us.
- We use a third-party vendor to verify the legitimacy of purchases and for retail fraud investigative purposes. In doing so, we may receive your personal identifiers (name, physical address, date of birth) and protected classifications (criminal history) to facilitate the verification and/or investigation.
- We purchase, collect, and use your personal identifiers (name, physical address, and email address) and internet or other electronic activity (IP address and device information) through marketing leads to market to prospective users, identify user trends, develop insights in efforts to improve our existing products and services, and assist in developing new products or services.
C. Information Collected From Cookies
Interact with the Website. In addition to the personal information you provide directly to us, we also collect information from you automatically as you use our Website via cookies, web beacons, pixels, or similar tracking technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: internet or other electronic network activity information.
We use essential, performance, marketing, and analytics cookies to collect your usage, device, and location information when you interact with the Website. This includes information like Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), location, device type, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We use this information to: (i) track you within the Website; (ii) enhance user experience; (iii) conduct analytics to improve the Website; (iv) prevent fraudulent use of the Website; (v) diagnose and repair Website errors, and, in cases of abuse, track and mitigate the abuse; and (vi) capture and aggregate viewing and engagement metrics.
Particular thrid-party cookies to note on our Website include Google Analytics.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information on your use of the Website for its improvement. To collect this information, Google Analytics installs cookies on your browser or reads cookies that are already there (for more information about how Google collects and uses the information see here). Google Analytics also receives information about you from applications you have downloaded or services that you use that partner with Google. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Websites or to another application which partners with Google is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. Aggregate data.We aggregate the data we collect for benchmarking purposes, advertising, and internal analytics. We maintain and use this data in deidentified form. We will not attempt to reidentify the data unless it is necessary to determine whether our deidentification processes satisfy applicable data protection laws.
How Long Personal Information is Retained
Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice, we retain your personal information as long as reasonably necessary to retain it for the purpose for which it was collected or until we receive a valid request to delete the information, in which case we will delete or anonymize the information within 30 days after receiving the request (unless there is a reason to retain the information for longer as explained below). This includes maintaining a user account with us (if applicable) or until the information is no longer needed for a service provider or contractor's operational purpose(s).
We use the following criteria to determine whether it remains reasonably necessary to retain your personal information for such purposes or a service provider or contractor's operational purpose(s): (i) whether there is a retention period required by statute or regulations; (ii) the existence of actual or threatened or reasonably anticipated litigation for which we are required to preserve the information; (iii) the statutes of limitations for potential legal claims; and (iv) generally accepted best practices in our industry, including in relation to the safety and security of our properties and assets. When we determine that it is no longer reasonably necessary to retain your personal information based on the above criteria, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
Alliance Cigar will share the personal information identified in this Privacy Policy in the following instances:
- Within Alliance Cigar: We may share your personal information among our affiliated entities to provide Alliance Cigar assistance in providing the functions and capabilities of the Website. Access to your personal information is limited to those on a need-to-know basis. We may also share your personal information with Alliance Cigar affiliates and subsidiaries for marketing purposes. - In the event of a corporate reorganization. - For a sale: Alliance Cigar uses certain analytics and advertising cookies on its Website. These cookies collect your internet and other electronic network activity information and share it with the data analytics and advertising partners that provide them. This use of your personal information may be considered a sale or sharing under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
