FAQ

What forms of payment do you accept? Alliance Cigar accepts all major credit cards or COD as payment.

What is your return policy? Any defective or damaged product can be returned provided you notify us with 48 hours at 631-952-5125 or by email to sales@alliancecigar.com. Unauthorized returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge.

Free Shipping Policy: Any free shipping promotion pertains to cigar orders only. Shpping rates for display units or large accessory orders will be quoted separately. Please contact us at 631-952-5125 or by email to sales@alliancecigar.com. for any exact quotation.

How are products shipped? We ship via UPS Ground. UPS Overnight or 2-Day service is availabe upon request.

Please Note: Overnight delivery does not mean your order is guaranteed to ship the day it is placed. This charge is for delivery transit only, not for expedited or priority service prior to shipping. We handle all orders on a first placed first shipped basis. During very busy times orders can take 1 or 2 business days to process.

I picked overnight delivery and my packaged did not arrive overnight.We generally ship all orders received by 12:00 noon Eastern time the same day, Monday through Friday.  However this is not always possible.  During very busy periods we may need an additional 1-2 business days.  Please note our overnight charge is a highly discounted rate to encourage faster transit times to protect the cigars.  This is NOT a priority handling charge before shipping.  We handle all orders the same on a first placed first shipped basis.

Also:  UPS does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

What are the shipping charges for orders shipped partially filled?There is no charge for backorder shipments.

When will I see the charges on my credit card? We do not charge your card until the day the order is shipped.

Is my personal and credit card information secure? We process all our orders on a secure server to ensure your personal data is protected with the utmost in Internet technology. Alliance Cigar will not share or sell any customer information with third parties.

What if I'm looking for a cigar that's not on your site? Please call or send an email. We can get almost any cigar made. We will get back to you with a quote and approximate delivery time. All special orders are not cancelable and will be automatically shipped and charged to your credit card upon our receipt of the cigars.

What about my state tobacco tax? Alliance Cigar is obligated to collect New York State tobacco tax. We must include a charge of 28.5% to orders delivered in NY State. Additionally we can optionally collect state tax for NJ and CT.

Do you ship Internationally? Yes our shipping policy is as follows:

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY

If your country does not allow tobacco to be imported from the United States then we cannot service you.

All international orders are shipped via USPS Express Mail. We use these method because it is fast, insured and traceable. If you prefer another method for cost purposes we will accommodate but we do not recommend it. The actual shipping costs are figured when the order is charged and may differ from the price quoted on your order.

Every order we ship is triple checked by our staff before it is packed. However, once a package leaves our store with an international destination we can no longer be held responsible if something happens to it in customs. If customs opens your package and charges you duty, confiscates merchandise or anything else of that nature we can not be held accountable. If the package is lost in transit or damaged prior to reaching customs then the package is insured.

We require a front and back copy of the credit card being used for the purchase to be faxed to us, for proof of card number and signature. Please make sure that the copies are light enough to be legible once faxed. This is very important.

We require a copy of your Driver's License for proof of age, identity, signature match etc... Again, please make sure that the copies are light enough to be legible once faxed, very important.
