The long filler tobaccos used in the "Melanio" are a blend of Oliva Nicaraguan habano that emphasizes tobacco from the Jalapa region, an area known for a more nuanced leaf than other famous tobacco growing regions of Nicaragua like Esteli or Condega. This meticulously aged and cured Jalapa blend winds up producing a distinctive flavorful smoke. The wrapper is a proprietary seed grown by the Oliva family in Ecuador.
