The CroMagnon Aquitaine is a variant from RoMaCraft Tobac's popular original CroMagnon line. The main difference is the Aquitaine uses Ecuadorian Habano wrapper on a similar binder and filler to the original CroMagnon. The Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapper is from eighth and ninth primings, with a thick, oily leaf with an amazing texture. The filler tobaccos are made up from three separate growing regions in Nicaragua: Esteli, Condega and a small farm north of Esteli on the Honduran border. Notes of wood and pepper spice emerge, with floral notes remaining as background flavors. Pepper and oak notes remain in control to the end. This small boutique brand is truly worth trying out, an example that boutique cigar companies are very capable of producing world class smokes.
